Late-Night Airport Arrival
A family of four arrived at KKIA at 11:30pm after a delayed flight from Singapore. They had a full schedule starting early the following morning and needed a vehicle ready immediately, without a lengthy counter process.
Solution
Pre-Prepared Compact with Airport Counter
Selesa Ride prepared a Proton Saga with full documentation, GPS loaded, and fuel filled before the flight landed. The counter staff remained at KKIA awaiting the delayed arrival. Key handover took seven minutes.
Outcome
On the Road by Midnight
The family reached their accommodation in central Kota Kinabalu by 12:15am and began their Sabah itinerary the following morning as planned. The vehicle was returned to our city office four days later without issues.

Highland Drive with Elderly Travellers
A couple in their 60s wanted to drive from Kota Kinabalu to Kundasang and Kinabalu Park. They had concerns about the mountain road and had been advised by others that regular sedans struggled with the gradient.
Solution
Crossover SUV with Extended Check
A Honda HR-V was assigned and underwent the highland inspection protocol including brake pad assessment and tyre grip check. A printed route guide was provided with rest stop timings suitable for a relaxed pace. Our team briefed them on the road before departure.

Challenge
Dive Group with Equipment to Semporna
Five divers needed transport from Kota Kinabalu to Semporna with full dive gear. They had been quoted by other providers but found the vehicle options wouldn't reasonably fit five adults plus equipment over 600 kilometres.
Solution
Larger Vehicle with One-Way Drop-Off
A larger SUV variant was sourced to accommodate the full group and gear. A one-way arrangement to Semporna was agreed, with an overnight point at Lahad Datu recommended in the route guide. The vehicle was checked specifically for long-distance highway performance.
Outcome
Dive Trip Completed As Planned
The group reached Semporna the following afternoon, completed their dive trip, and returned to KK separately. They booked again for a return trip to Sandakan six weeks later. The one-way fee was quoted in advance and there were no additions.
